I actually like the idea of this particular DLC, like how I also like the idea of changing out of your BDUs: eventually, after a campaign or a simple mission, you just want to relax for at least a day. And it also shows you can't be on the frontlines 24/7. Bioware may have dropped the ball on the ending(s) but they didn't do so here.
